Richmond Raceway Announces 2017 Track Sponsors and Marketing Partners


Richmond, KY(May 31, 2017) Richmond Raceway track promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz are pleased to announce its 2017 track sponsors and marketing partners that will help make the racing program possible throughout the 2017 season at the 3/10-mile semi-banked clay oval known as “The Beast of the East”.

Sonic of Richmond will continue to be the title sponsor for the track’s Late Model division.  Eagle Financial Services of Richmond will now be the title sponsor for the track’s Open Wheel Modified division.  AR Bodies of Greenbriar, TN will continue its support at the track as it will remain the title sponsor for the KDRA Super Stock division.  Baker Iron and Metal Company of Lexington, KY joins the track as a sponsor for 2017 and will be the title of the track’s Stock Four Cylinder division. 

Another new marketing partner at the Madison County, KY clay oval for the 2017 season is the group. is a group that provides assistance for military families in crisis.  The Kentucky-based organization helps restore financial stability and self-sufficiency to post 9/11 veterans and military families.

The next racing program at Richmond Raceway will be the Four Cylinder Fury event on Saturday June 3 and the Stock Four Cylinder division will be highlighted in a $1,000 to win main event.  Also on the Four Cylinder Fury racing program for June 3 will be the Late Model division racing for $1,500 to win, Open Wheel Modifieds racing for $1,000 to win, and KDRA Super Stocks racing for $750 to win.
