                   Richmond, KY(September 19, 2016) Richmond Raceway co-promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz  will be set to return to action with a special night for the race fans on  Saturday September 24 as the track will present Meet the Drivers Night and the  Warlock Race Cars Mini-Cup/Cyclones racing or $500 to win at this event, along  with a full racing program for Sonic Late Models, Phantom Racing Gear  Modifieds, AR Bodies KDRA Super Stocks, and Pro-Tow Towing Stock Four Cylinders  at the 3/10 mile semi-baned red clay oval known as “The Beast of the East”. 
                  Once practice/time trials are completed for the evening,  drivers will bring their race cars back out to the track on the frontchute  and/or in the infield area and all race fans in attendance will be allowed to  come down out of the general admission area to meet and greet, get autographs,  take photographs, and enjoy some time of fun and fellowship with their heroes  that compete at Richmond Raceway.  Race  fans are encouraged to get to the track early so they can participate in the  meet and greet fellowship time with the drivers after practice/time trials. 
                  Richmond Raceway will present Meet the Drivers Night on  Saturday September 24 and will feature the Warlock Race Cars in a $500 to win  main event.  Also on the September 24  racing program will be the Sonic Late Models racing for $1,500 to win, Phantom  Racing Gear Modifieds racing for $1,000 to win, AR Bodies KDRA Super Stocks  racing for $750 to win, and Pro-Tow Towing Stock Four Cylinders racing for $500  to win.  For the Saturday September 24  program, all divisions will utilize the practice/time trials combo format to  determine heat race starting positions, which will be followed immediately by  the Meet the Drivers time on the track.   RACEceivers are mandatory in all divisions and must be used by the  driver each time he/she is on the racing surface in their race car.  Also, transponder scoring/timing is used at  Richmond Raceway and the rental for a transponder is $10 and can be taken care  of at driver registration (the track uses the yellow Westhold transponders).  It is pertinent that all drivers be at the track  and signed in by 5:15 p.m. as that is when driver registration closes for this  event.

                  Activities for Meet the Drivers Night at Richmond Raceway  on Saturday September 24 will see the pit area open at 3:00 p.m., with the  general admission area open at 4:30 p.m.   Of note,driver’s registration will close promptly at 5:15 p.m.  The drivers meeting will be at 5:30 p.m, with  practice/time trial combo laps set to begin around 6:00 p.m., followed by the  race fans meet and greet time with drivers, and the green flag for the first  race will wave at 7:45 p.m.  Ticket  prices on Saturday September 24 in the general admission area will be $15 for  adults, with children ages 12 and under FREE.   For the pit area, adult prices will be $30, with children ages 6 to 12  costing $15, and children ages five and under FREE.
