                   Richmond, KY(September 15, 2016) Richmond Raceway co-promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah  Yantz have issued the following rules bulletin concerning the Mini-Cup/Cyclone  division that competes at the 3/10 mile red clay oval known as “The Beast of  the East”. 
                  After a meeting was held with drivers in the division  prior to racing activities at the track on September 3, it was agreed upon that  the following procedures would be in place in handling all post-race and  technical inspections. 
                  -If a protest is made, only 2nd and 3rd place finishers  can protest and must finish on lead lap. Protest must be made in the infield  before exiting to outside pit area. Protests are as follows: $50 Carburetor,  $75 to Check and Weigh Flywheel, $100 to Pull Head and Inspect Head Only, $250  to do a Complete Teardown.  In the event  of a protest, items will be checked that night in Hanger Building by Driver,  Protestor, and Track Official. The Protest Monies will go to the car being  protested if deemed Legal, in the event found Illegal, the monies will return  to the Protestor.  If any parts are found  Illegal, the car will be disqualified and lose all monies and points for that  night.  Richmond Raceway reserves the  right to teardown any Engine or Parts at any time for any reason it deems necessary  without any Protest Monies. 
                  NOTE: Pre-Race Tech is done as Group Tech by  Drivers/Official. Post Race Tech is done as Group Tech by Top 3  Drivers/Official. Any Driver Refusing to allow Group Tech on Any Part of Car  will be Disqualified. If Disqualified, No Money or Points will be Awarded for  that event. 
                     
                    The next event for the track’s Warlock Race Cars  Mini-Cup/Cyclone division will be at the track’s Meet the Drivers Night on  Saturday September 24 and the division will pay $500 to win that evening.
