Richmond, KY(September 3, 2016) Richmond Raceway would present the American Dirt Allstars sanctioned AR Bodies KDRA Super Stock Nationals on Saturday evening and Eddie Stewart of Manchester, KY would claim the $2,000 payday.  Other feature event winners included Michael Chilton of Salvisa, KY in Sonic Late Models, in Blake Brown of Corbin, KY in Phantom Racing Gear Modifieds and Warlock Race Cars Mini-Cup/Cyclones, and Sean Jones of Clermont County, OH in Pro-Tow Towing Stock Four Cylinders.

The 40 lap, $2,000 to win American Dirt Allstars AR Bodies KDRA Super Stock main event would have numerous cautions in the first nine laps, but Eddie Stewart would have control from the outset of the event and would never be seriously challenged as he led all 40 circuits of the race en route to the victory in his We Go the Dog sponsored #119 Stewart Racing Chassis entry.  Robby Perkins and Jeremie Bretz would battle for second throughout the contest, with Perkins taking runner-up honors, while Bretz would claim the final podium finishing position.  Brandon Hutchinson and 16th place starter Faron Robinson would complete the top five.  The remainder of the top ten finishers in the event would be Kyle Moore, Gabbert’s Garage Hard Charger award winner James Crowe (started 20th), Bob Daugherty, Logan Preston, and 22nd place starter Dave McCarty.  Thirty-two entries would see Eddie Stewart be the Patton’s Racing Supply top qualifier at 16.278 to establish a new track record.  Heat wins went to Stewart, Perkins, Bretz, and Troy Clark, while B-Main top honors went to Jim Ison and Bill Robinson.

The Sonic Late Model feature event would see Justin Rattliff lead the opening lap before Michael Chilton would edge past him for the lead on lap 2, with Rattliff pulling pitside under caution just a few laps later, leaving Chilton to drive to the victory in the Caton Industrial Painting/Superior Drywall/Chilton’s Lawn and Maintenance/Parkview Home Center/Dial Painting sponsored #97 Rocket Chassis, Bullock Race Engines powered machine.  Jeff Watson would outduel Jason Barrett for runner-up honors, with Derek Fisher and Kirk Phillips completing the top five.  Rounding out the top ten finishers would be Daniel Shelton, Donnie Everman, Chris Ruble, Joe Mayabb, and Jason Rogers.  Fifteen entries would see Rattliff be the top qualifier at 14.595 seconds and win a heat, while Chilton grabbed the other heat victory.

Blake Brown would lead all 20 laps of the Phantom Racing Gear Modified main event on the way to his fifth win in the division for the season at Richmond Raceway in the Robbie Brown owned Bill’s Bath and Lighting/Tammy Brown Photography/Team Lawyer Muscles/State Farm Insurance/Basement Boutiques sponsored #99 Lightning Chassis, Vic Hill Race Engines powered machine.  Dennis Roberson, David Webb, and Russ Gabbert would battle throughout the course of the event, with that trio finishing second through fourth in that order, while Jared Reams would claim fifth.  Completing the top ten finishers would be Jimmy Crabtree, Dustin Linville, Jimmy Robinson, Korey Cochran, and Zach Powers.  Eighteen entries would see Brown also be top qualifier at 16.093 seconds and win a heat, with the other heat being scored by Roberson.

Dylan Stevens would lead over 11 laps of the 12 lap Pro-Tow Towing Stock Four Cylinder main only to have Sean Jones ease under him on the final lap exiting turn four to pick up his first win ever at Richmond Raceway in the Jones Motorsports #24 Chevy Chevette.  Stevens would settle for second, with Tyler Hayes, Shane Irvin, and Brandon Creech claiming third through fifth at the finish.  The second five finishers in the event would be Jeremy Cantrell, Josh Martin, Ray Perry, Clint Cox, and David Lucas.  Twenty entries would see Stevens be top qualifier at 18.592 seconds and win a heat, while Creech scored the other heat win. 

Blake Brown’s second feature victory of the night would come in the Warlock Race Cars Mini-Cup/Cyclone division as he would park the Deborah Rutherford owned Dependable Auto Sales/Tammy Brown Photography/Basement Boutiques sponsored #99 MMI Chassis in victory lane.  Dylan Rutherford would finish second, while Thomas Scenters would finish third.  Fourth and fifth at the finish would go to Scott Crusenberry and Dalton Brown.  Eleven entries would see Rutherford as top qualifier at 20.779 seconds and also win the heat.
