Richmond, KY(October 10, 2016) Richmond Raceway has concluded the 2016 racing season and track co-promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz are pleased to announce the track’s 2016 track champions and the final top fifteen drivers in points in each division for the 2016 racing season that competed at the 3/10 mile red clay oval better known as “The Beast of the East”.
The 2016 track champions are as follows: Jason Barrett of Waco, KY in Sonic Late Models; Blake Brown of Corbin, KY in Phantom Racing Gear Modifieds; Robby Perkins of Ezel, KY in AR Bodies KDRA Super Stocks, Sean Jones of Clermont County, OH in Pro-Tow Towing Stock Four Cylinders; Dylan Rutherford of Corbin, KY in Warlock Race Cars Mini-Cup/Cyclones.
