Richmond, KY(July 27, 2016) Richmond Raceway co-promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz will return to action at the 3/10 mile semi-banked red clay oval known as “The Beast of the East” on Saturday August 6 with the American Dirt Allstars sanctioned AR Bodies KDRA Super Stock Nationals, paying $2,000 to win and $500 to win for the Warlock Race Cars Mini-Cup/Cyclones, plus a full racing program for the Sonic Late Models, Phantom Racing Gear Modifieds, and Pro-Tow Towing Stock Four Cylinders.
Richmond Raceway will present the AR Bodies KDRA Super Stock Nationals for the American Dirt Allstars on Saturday August 6, paying $2,000 to win their 40 lap main event, along with Warlock Race Cars Mini-Cup/Cyclones racing for $500 to win in a 15 lap feature contest. Also on the August 6 racing program at Richmond Raceway will be a full racing program for Sonic Late Models racing for $1,500 to win, Phantom Racing Gear Modifieds racing for $1,000 to win, and Pro-Tow Towing Stock Four Cylinders racing for $500 to win. All divisions will utilize the practice/time trial combo format, with the exception of the AR Bodies KDRA Super Stocks, as they will have a practice session, followed by time trials, two laps/two cars at a time. The entry fee for the American Dirt Allstars AR Bodies KDRA Super Stock Nationals is $20 for series members and $30 for non-members and this does include the transponder fee. Transponders are used for timing/scoring purposes (can be rented at the track) and RACEceivers are also mandatory in all divisions. All competitors are urged to be at the track and signed-in by 5:30 p.m. as that is when driver registration closes.
Activities for the AR Bodies KDRA Super Stock Nationals at Richmond Raceway on Saturday August 6 will see the pit area open at 3:00 p.m. and the general admission area open at 4:30 p.m. Driver registration will close at 5:30 p.m. and the drivers meeting will begin at 5:45 p.m., with practice set to begin at 6:15 p.m. Racing is set to take the take the green flag at 7:30 p.m. All times listed are EDT. Ticket prices for the Saturday August 6 in the general admission area will be $15 for adults, with children ages 12 and under FREE. A pit pass will be $35 for adults, while children ages 6 through 12 will be $15, with children ages 5 and under FREE.
