Richmond, KY(July 11, 2016) Richmond Raceway co-promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz would like to release the following rules bulletin regarding the Pro-Tow Towing Stock Four Cylinder division that competes at the 3/10 mile semi-banked red clay oval known as “The Beast of the East”.

Beginning with the 2nd Annual Butch Shay Memorial event at Richmond Raceway this Saturday July 16 and effective for the rest of the season, the following rules amendment will apply for the Pro-Tow Towing Stock Four Cylinder division:  One (1) beadlock wheel will be allowed on the race cars.  If the car is front-wheel drive, a beadlock wheel can be used on the right-front of the race car.  If the car is rear-wheel drive, a beadlock wheel can be used on the right-rear of the race car.  This was voted on and passed by the drivers in the division at the last event held.

The next event at Richmond Raceway will be the 2nd Annual Butch Shay Memorial event this Saturday July 16 and will feature Sonic Late Models racing for $2,100 to win and Phantom Racing Gear Modifieds racing for $2,100 to win.  Also in competition at the event on Saturday July 16 will be the AR Bodies KDRA Super Stocks racing for $750 to win, Pro-Tow Towing Stock Four Cylinders racing for $500 to win, and Warlock Race Cars racing for $100 to win.
