                   Richmond, KY(August 21, 2016) Richmond Raceway co-promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah  Yantz will not be having racing action this Saturday August 27, but will return  with racing competition over Labor Day weekend on Saturday September 3 as the  postponed AR Bodies KDRA Nationals will take place, paying $2,000 to win for  the American Dirt Allstars AR Bodies KDRA Super Stocks, along with a full  racing program for Sonic Late Model, Phantom Racing Gear Modifieds, Pro-Tow  Towing Stock Four Cylinders, and Warlock Race Cars Mini-Cup/Cyclones at the  3/10 mile semi-baned red clay oval known as “The Beast of the East” that was  postponed due to heavy rain.  The event  will now take place on Saturday September 17. 
                  Richmond Raceway will present the AR Bodies KDRA  Nationals event on Saturday September 3 and will feature the American Dirt  Allstars sanctioned AR Bodies KDRA Super Stocks racing in a 40 lap event that  will pay $2,000 to win.  Also on the  September 3 racing program will be the Sonic Late Models racing for $1,500 to  win, Phantom Racing Gear Modifieds racing for $1,000 to win, Pro-Tow Towing  Stock Four Cylinders $500 to win, and Warlock Race Cars Mini-Cup/Cyclones  racing for $100 to win.  For the Saturday  September 3, the KDRA Super Stocks will have separate practice and time trial  sessions, while the Late Models, Modified, Stock Four Cylinders, and Mini-Cup/Cyclones  will utilize the practice/time trials combo format to determine heat race  starting positions.  RACEceivers are  mandatory in all divisions and must be used by the driver each time he/she is  on the racing surface in their race car.   Also, transponder scoring/timing is used at Richmond Raceway and the  rental for a transponder is $10 and can be taken care of at driver registration  (the track uses the yellow Westhold transponders).  It is pertinent that all drivers be at the  track and signed in by 5:30 p.m. as that is when driver registration closes.

                  Activities for the AR Bodies KDRA Nationals event at  Richmond Raceway on Saturday September 3 will see the pit area open at 3:00  p.m., with the general admission area open at 4:30 p.m.  Driver’s registration will close promptly at  5:30 p.m.  The drivers meeting will be at  5:45 p.m, with practice/time trial combo laps set to begin around 6:15 p.m.,  and the green flag for the first race will wave at 7:30 p.m.  Ticket prices on Saturday September 17 in the  general admission area will be $15 for adults, with children ages 12 and under  FREE.  For the pit area, adult prices  will be $35, with children ages 6 to 12 costing $15, and children ages five and  under FREE.
