                   Richmond, KY (March 22, 2015) Richmond Raceway co-promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz are pleased   to announce an association established with Ray Cook and American Race   Tire South that will see American Racer Tires now legal for use in the   track’s Pro Late Model division, along with American Race Tire South   coming on board as a track sponsor at the 3/10 mile clay oval known as   “The Beast of the East” for the 2015 season. 
                     
This will allow racers to run the following American Racer tire   compounds at Richmond Raceway in the Pro Late Model division for the   2015 season:  Crate 44 and Crate 53.  In addition, competitors in the   Pro Late Model division at Richmond Raceway will also be allowed to   compete on the following Hoosier Tire compounds:  FT200, FT400, LSB21,   LSB55, Crate 21, Crate 55, LM40, 1640, or SPEC D55.  Depending on the   tire brand that racers choose, these tire compounds must be all four   corners of the race cars.  Also, the maximum spoiler allowed in the Pro   Late Model division will be 8 inches in height. 
 
“We are very honored to have American Race Tire South join us at   Richmond Raceway for the 2015 season as a marketing partner”, stated   track co-promoter Larry Yantz.  “Ray Cook is very well respected in the   dirt racing world and to have a product and company that he is   associated with want to be associated with us at Richmond Raceway is a   great addition to further the foundation of the dawn of a new era at   Richmond Raceway”, added Yantz. 
 
The Pro Late Model division is not scheduled to be in competition on the following dates during the 2015 race season:  April 18, July 18, September 5, and October 3.    However, the Pro Late Model division cars can compete with the Super   Late Model division on these dates only (dates subject to change in case   of inclement weather).  In addition, the Pro Late Model competitors can   compete on those four dates with the Super Late Model division and use   the track’s Pro Late Model division tire rule. 
 
Activities will begin at Richmond Raceway for the 2015 with a pair of   Test and Tune Open Practice dates, with the first practice date set for Saturday March 28 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., with the second and final practice date set for Saturday evening April 4 from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. 
 
The track will officially begin its 50th season of dirt track racing   with the “Dawn of New Era” season opener event on Saturday April 11 that   will feature Super Late Models, Modifieds, Pro Late Models, KDRA Super   Stocks (formerly Sportsman), Four Cylinders, and Mini-Cup/Cyclones all   in competition.
