                   Richmond, KY(June 7, 2015) After a busy week off, Richmond Raceway co-promoters  Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz will return with racing action at the 3/10 mile  clay oval known as “The Beast of the East” this Saturday June 13 as the track  presents Modified Mayhem, paying $1,000 to win for Modifieds, plus a full  racing card of competition in all other divisions.          
                  Also, with the Modified Mayhem on Saturday June 13, this  will mark the first event on the ALL NEW Red Clay racing surface that has been  put down for competition at Richmond Raceway and should make for even more  excitement and side-by-side racing action for the racers and race fans. 
                  Richmond Raceway will present Modified Mayhem on Saturday  June 13 as the Modified division will be highlighted, racing for $1,000 to win  in their main event.  Also on the  Modified Mayhem racing card for Saturday June 13 will be the Barry Turner of  Century 21 Advantage Realty Super Late Models racing for $1,200 to win, while  the REVELution Race Cars Pro Late Models will be racing for $600 to win.  Also in action will be the KDRA Super Stocks  racing for $500 to win, Four Cylinders racing for $300 to win, and Warlock Race  Cars Mini-Cup/Cyclones racing for $100 to win.   For the Modified Mayhem event, all divisions will utilize the  practice/time trials combo format to determine heat race starting positions,  except for the Four Cylinders and Mini-Cup/Cyclones, as they will draw for heat  race starting positions.  RACEceivers are  mandatory in all divisions and must be used by the driver everytime he/she is  on the racing surface in their race car.

                  Activities for Modified Mayhem at Richmond Raceway on  June 13 will see the pit area open at 3:00 p.m., with the general admission  area open at 4:30 p.m.  Driver’s  registration will close promptly at 6:00 p.m.   The drivers meeting will be at 6:00 p.m, with practice/time trial combo  laps set to begin around 6:20 p.m., and the green flag for the first race will  wave at 7:30 p.m.  Ticket prices for  Modified Mayhem on Saturday June 13 in the general admission area will be $15  for adults, with children ages 12 and under FREE.  For the pit area, adult prices will be $35,  with children ages 6 to 12 costing $15, and children ages five and under FREE.  If a driver races in more than one division,  that driver has to buy a second pit pass.   Also, any driver under the age of 18 will have to have a notorized  release signed by both parents before that driver is eligible to compete at  Richmond Raceway, due to insurance regulations.
