                   Richmond, KY(July 4, 2015) Richmond Raceway co-promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah  Yantz are pleased to announce details for the 28th Annual Sunoco Race Fuels  Paul “Butterball” Wooldridge Memorial at the 3/10 mile red clay oval known as  “The Beast of the East” that will take place on Saturday July 18.   
                  The Super Late Model portion of the program will be  sanctioned by the Ray Cook-promoted Southern Nationals Bonus Series presented  by Collins Signs and will see the Super Late Models racing for a $10,028 to win  payday.  Also on the “Butterball” racing  program on Saturday July 18 will be the Modified division racing for $1,000 to  win and KDRA Super Stocks racing for $800 to win, along with a special feature  event for the Mini-Cup/Cyclone division paying $150 to win.   
                  The Pro Late Model and Four Cylinder divisions will have  the evening off that night, however, Pro Late Models can compete with the Super  Late Models that evening, but it will be using the Super Late Model track tire  rule.  In addition, there will be an open  practice at the track on Friday July 17 for all divisions and following the  practice, there will be a cookout.   Ticket prices in the general admission area are free and a pit pass will  be $15 for practice.  Everyone that signs  in to the pit area will be eligible to partake in the cookout following  practice.  Concessions will be available  in the pit area only until time of the cookout.   Times for the practice will be from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and gates  will open at 4:00 p.m.    
                  Richmond Raceway will present the 28th Annual Sunoco Race  Fuels Paul “Butterball” Wooldridge event on Saturday July 18 and will feature  the Southern Nationals Bonus Series presented by Collins Signs Super Late  Models racing for $10,028 to win in their main event.  Also on the “Butterball” racing program will  be Modifieds racing for $1,000 to win and KDRA Super Stocks racing for $800 to  win, along with a special feature event for the Mini-Cup/Cyclone division  paying $150 to win.  For the “Butterball”  Memorial on Saturday July 18, the Southern Nationals Bonus Series will compete  in a full program of practice, time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the  $10,028 to win “Butterball’ A-Main.  The  Modified and KDRA Super Stock divisions will utilize the practice/time trials  combo format to determine heat race starting positions, while the  Mini-Cup/Cyclones will line up via the pill draw.  RACEceivers are mandatory in all divisions  and must be used by the driver each time he/she is on the racing surface in  their race car.  Also, transponder  scoring/timing is used at Richmond Raceway and the rental for a transponder is  $10 and can be taken care of at driver registration (the track uses the yellow  Westhold transponders).  It is pertinent  that all drivers be at the track and signed in by 6:00 p.m. 
                  Also as part of the “Butterball”, there will be the  “Butterball” Dash that will consist of the Super Late Model feature winners at  Richmond Raceway in 2015 that are not in the show via a heat or b-main event,  plus the top ten in Super Late Model track points after the July 11  “Butterball” Tune-Up event, with the dash winner earning a staring spot in the  “Butterball” and the winner of the “Butterball” Tune-Up at the track on July 11  will also get a starting spot in the “Butterball”.  Drivers currently locked into the  “Butterball” Dash include Victor Lee of Danville, KY, Greg Johnson of Bedford,  IN, Michael Chilton of Salvisa, KY, and Johnny Wheeler of Campbellsville,  KY.   
                  For the Southern Nationals Bonus Series presented by  Collins Signs, the entry fee for the event for Super Late Models is $100 and  the tire rule for the event is the Richmond Raceway tire rule, which is as  follows:  Front tires- Open Compound/Manufacturer;  Rear tires- Hoosier: 1300, 1350, 1600, LM20, and LM40; American Racer: 44, 48,  and 56.  Tire samples can and/or will be  taken by the track and/or series at any time during the course of the event. 
                  Also, the Southern Nationals Bonus Series presented by  Collins Signs will pay the highest finishing driver in the A-Main using a Crate  engine a $200 bonus, also a $200 bonus to the highest finishing driver using a  525 series engine, and a $200 bonus to the highest finishing driver using a Steel  Head/Spec engine.

                  Activities for the 28th Annual Sunoco Race Fuels Paul  “Butterball” Wooldridge Memorial event at Richmond Raceway on Saturday July 18  will see the pit area open at 2:00 p.m., with the general admission area open  at 3:00 p.m.  Driver’s registration will  close promptly at 6:00 p.m.  The drivers  meeting will be at 6:00 p.m, with practice/time trial combo laps set to begin  around 6:30 p.m., and the green flag for the first race will wave at 7:30 p.m.  Ticket prices for the “Butterball” Memorial  on Saturday July 18 in the general admission area will be $25 for adults, with  children ages 12 and under FREE.  For the  pit area, adult prices will be $40, with children ages 6 to 12 costing $15, and  children ages five and under FREE.  If a  driver races in more than one division, that driver has to buy a second pit  pass.  Also, any driver under the age of  18 will have to have a notorized release signed by both parents before that  driver is eligible to compete at Richmond Raceway, due to insurance  regulations.
