Transponder Timing/Scoring and RACEceievers at Richmond Raceway for 2015!

Richmond Raceway has taken delivery on their transponder scoring system that will be used for timing and scoring purposes on the race cars for the 2015 season. Drivers can purchase their own transponders or they can rent them at the track each night for $10 (if drivers purchase their own transponder, there will be a $5 user fee; they must be the Westhold yellow transponder to work with scoring loop at track). All divisions will be required to use transponders. Pouches to hold the transponders will also be available at the track and must be purchased and permanently attached in the proper place on the race cars. Fans will also benefit from the use of the transponder system as it will be linked directly to the scoreboard the track will have in use in 2015 and will automatically display times, along with automatically displaying the top five driver car numbers in the running order in each event. Also, the track will require the use of RACEceivers by all drivers in all divisions at the track in 2015. They must be in use each time a driver pulls onto the racing surface. The track will have just a few RACEceivers available at the track to rent if a driver does not have one.
