Saturday Night Showdown Set for Richmond Raceway This Saturday May 16

Richmond, KY (May 10, 2015) Richmond Raceway co-promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz will return the 3/10 mile clay oval known as “The Beast of the East” back to action this Saturday night May 16 as the track will present the Saturday Night Showdown that will feature the American Dirt Allstars KDRA Super Stocks in action racing for $1,000 to win and Four Cylinders in action racing for $500 to win, plus a full racing program for all other divisions.

Of note, track promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz regret to inform everyone that the new clay surface will not be in place for the upcoming racing action, as the company that was set to haul the new dirt to the track got tied up with another contracted job and other available haulers were also already committed to other jobs as well, so the new dirt will not be in place for the May 16 program.  The track regrets this inconvenience and hopes everyone will understand and continue to support Richmond Raceway, as their will be new dirt in place by sometime in June if all goes to plan this go around.
