Firecracker 30 for Pro Late Models $1,500 to win at Richmond Raceway on Saturday July 4!

 

Richmond, KY(June 28, 2015) Richmond Raceway co-promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz invites everyone out to the 3/10 mile red clay oval known as “The Beast of the East” this Saturday July 4 to celebrate America’s 239th birthday with a great night of racing action featuring the Firecracker 30 for the REVELution Race Cars Pro Late Models, paying $1,500 to win, plus a full racing program of competition in all other divisions.  Also, there will be FIREWORKS as well to help everyone celebrate the Fourth of July holiday!        

Richmond Raceway will present the Firecracker 30 on Saturday June 4 as the REVELution Race Cars Pro Late Model division will be highlighted with their biggest money event of the 2015 season, racing for $1,500 to win in a 30 lap main event.  Also on the Firecracker 30 racing card for Saturday July 4 will be the Barry Turner of Century 21 Advantage Realty Super Late Models racing for $1,200 to win, Modifieds racing for $800 to win, and KDRA Super Stocks racing for $500 to win.  Completing the racing program will be Four Cylinders racing for $300 to win and Warlock Race Cars Mini-Cup/Cyclones racing for $100 to win.  For the Firecracker 30 event, all divisions will utilize the practice/time trials combo format to determine heat race starting positions, except for the Four Cylinder and Mini-Cup/Cyclones, as they will draw for heat race starting positions.  RACEceivers are mandatory in all divisions and must be used by the driver everytime he/she is on the racing surface in their race car.  It is pertinent that all drivers be at the track and signed in by 6:00 p.m.

Activities for Firecracker 30 event at Richmond Raceway on Saturday July 4 will see the pit area open at 3:00 p.m., with the general admission area open at 4:30 p.m.  Driver’s registration will close promptly at 6:00 p.m.  The drivers meeting will be at 6:00 p.m, with practice/time trial combo laps set to begin around 6:30 p.m., and the green flag for the first race will wave at 7:45 p.m.  Ticket prices for the Firecracker 30 on Saturday July 4 in the general admission area will be $15 for adults, with children ages 12 and under FREE.  For the pit area, adult prices will be $35, with children ages 6 to 12 costing $15, and children ages five and under FREE.  If a driver races in more than one division, that driver has to buy a second pit pass.  Also, any driver under the age of 18 will have to have a notorized release signed by both parents before that driver is eligible to compete at Richmond Raceway, due to insurance regulations.
